Thank you so much. This was the explanation that fixed my snowflake instance after I spent all day troubleshooting the variety of specific combinations and fixes. I did all of this also having opened Ubisoft Connect and Steam as Admin beforehand and ran the FarCry.exe in Windows 8 compatibility mode.
Yea, well, tried tht not workign, tried fixing the diretory not working.
