5:4 monitor support?

Hello. I have 5:4 monitor. The resolution is 1280x1024. I want to buy this game. Let me know, does Far Cry 5 supports 5:4 monitor or I will have black bars in top and bottom of the screen like in Far Cry 4?
And one more question - Does it really works on CPUs without SSE 4.1 and 4.2 support now? My cpu is Penom II x4 970 (4.1 GHz)

not sure if the game supports 1280 X 1024 .. it will support 1280 X 720 = 720 P

you probably need to upgrade your monitor , as it sounds like you own an old office screen

as to your CPU question yes they added support for some CPU's that lack SSE 4.1 instructions in the final patch back in NOV 2019 when they removed the easy anti cheat .. that required SSE 4.1 and 4.2 instruction sets

older AMD cpu's lacked those instruction sets that even many intel CPU's have supported since 2009

AMD chose to go with the now outdated 3d now instruction sets on the phenom CPU's

Ubi does not offer technical support for CPU's that old as they do not meet the minimum requirements

I bought this game. The game is displayed in full screen on a 5:4 monitor with a screen resolution of 1280x1024. There are no black bars in top and bottom of the screen at all. I love you, UBISOFT
