merle briggs story bug

I liberated the entire camp but i dont get the option to talk to merle briggs. I looked it up and hes bugged, the only fix i could find was in german so ye idk

Hey there Browser.

Is the mission you're stuck on named "The Cleansing"? If so this is a known issue.

The mission should still be ongoing as it should only be the marker being not being shown as visible. Therefore in the meantime we would suggest you try to fast travel to the security gate in John's region and then run up the path. Once you get close to the rope bridge the mission should continue and you should be able to see Merle on the other side of the bridge. Please be aware that the game will switch to night if you do those steps during the day.

Nope but I got it fixed by fast travelling away and back again, this did reset the enemies but not an issue. Thanks for your time and assistance!
