mine is found in .\[SteamLibrary]\steamapps\common\FarCry5\Support\Software
It starts, but sits at "Initialiazing..." does nothing and nothing is related in running processes.
updated:
I disabled UAC and now the VCRedist seems to be running normally, albeit slow
Try the Redist version found on microsoft website instead if you have further issues with the installation process.

I even updated Uplay to a more recent version that it (Far Cry 5) was trying to install.
it seems like maybe it was the VVRedist that was the issue
NOW! the game loads further - it opens uPlay, then the Far Cry 5 splashscreen...then it loads!
