Error code "Trapper-C69CD14" ON pc

My game refuses to load after the Whitetail Mountains mission to save the Deputy's friend from Jacob Seed's bunker.

The first time this error happened, I had just made it out of the bunker gate and had reached the road. Once I hit the road, my game went to the loading screen with the picture of Jacob.

After a minute or two of loading, I get put back to the main menu with a message saying: "ERROR. The operation took longer than expected, please try again later. You have been returned to the main menu. Error: Trapper-C69CD14

This occurs every time I try to continue the game. Hope this gets fixed soon, I'm having a lot of fun with Far Cry 5

This can happen if the save data has become corrupted.

Do you have any friends playing the game? If so can you try joining one of their Co-Op sessions, then backing out and trying to load your game again? This can sometimes help with these issues.

I have tried going in co-op and playing for an hour or so and then trying to get back into my game and it wont go past the loading screen giving me the error code Trapper-C69CD14

I just suffered the same problem. And I don't have friends playing it to log in with. Isn't the save info on Ubisoft's end? It always says it is synchronizing when I start a game.

So after beating Jacobs Bunker mission some people including me have run into a game breaking bug which prevents you from continuing the game by placing you into a loading screen that never loads. Usually you will get a split second of Gameplay before the loading screen kicks in and then after waiting it brings you to the main menu with this error code Trapper-C69CD14.

To fix this on pc heres what you do
1: Press continue on the main menu
2: as soon as you see the split second of gameplay press ALT+TAB and tab out of the game
3:wait for about a minute tabbed out on desktop and then go back into the game.
4:if you see the Wolfs den loading screen instead of the Jacob loading screen then this method worked and you will be put back into the game.

I got this trick off of another forum. It has not worked so far but I am currently trying to get the game going again.
