Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5

Voir les stats:
No voice in cutscenes and dialogue
I already check the integrity of game files with Steam and it's look like the same issue that i had with AC:Origins but this time the little manipulation below doesn't work

1- Quit the game
2- Disable every sound devices except your headset
3- Relaunch the game

If I launch the game with my Logitech Speakers Z623 I have environnement and VOICE sound,

But if launch the game with my Logitech Headset G933 i don't have VOICE !

And the driver of my headset is up to date.

I had a similar issue on my Razor headset and I had to reboot to fix it as the surround sound software wasn't detecting the input device after my headset got disconnected right when I was starting the game. I think it has to do with what channel the voice is on in for surround sound but i'm not sure. Also had it happen when the game minimized itself during a cutsceen leading to very muffled and quiet voices with the same needing to restart
Up !!!
Same here.
speakers and razer 7.1 headset doesn't have voices.

Unanswered after two/three days, I got a refund.
i sent one this morning, lets see if i get something.
What helped me:

I went to Steam - right click on Far Cry 5 - propereties - language

Here was NO language selected. Now I chose english and it worked. Somehow the game doesn't know what language it should "play" as the voice, if you don't select it. At least, that was the case at my game.
beaT, thats the stupidiest thing i heard all day... and yet it worked... wtf steam?

True for me, but yes, it worked just fine. The tab where the language should stand was empty, no language selected. Makes actual sense. I'm just curious how in the world this can happen

Did you guys ever... get back to them? Or anyone? I'm having the same problem, going to return the Gold Edition I just purchased unless this is resolved.
It's the same issue they had in Assassins Creed - g933 and g633 register as surround system on pc and game attempts to play voices on different channels which do not exist. Normally you would simply set your sound output to stereo but with logitech headphones they only register as surround devices (they emulate surround effect with software while in reality obviously there's just two dynamics and not 5 or 7).

They did patch the support in Assassins Creed eventually so that's what has to happen in Far Cry 5 as well. On logitech forums mods are clueless and in ubisoft support they would just suggest using different headphones (after going through the motions of unplugging the device and checking settings and reinstalling drivers obviously).

So yeah just wait or use different headphones/speakers.

hey guys I had same problem and found fix!
https://appuals.com/how-to-configure-and-test-5-1-surround-sound-on-windows-10/ follow this article and on item 3 select STEREO instead of surround. Problem seems to be that voices are usually playing on central channel and windows thinks that you have 5.1 connected to your pc

Thanks for providing that information xorza

Hopefully that can help others who may be seeing that in the future.
