no binoculars, weapons/items/ammo gone

After one of the cutscenes involving Faith (and being revived by the sheriff + a lady stabbing my chest with adreneline), my entire inventory was cleared out. I was able to get my guns back from a gun vendor but all my ammo/rest of inventory was still gone.

Also I cannot use the binoculars anymore :/

Is this a bug or is this part of the story??

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I can't craft any of buffs from plants because the weapon wheel slots for them are all empty! Surely this can't be an intended part of the game.

Well all I just kept playing and a few hours later my stuff randomly came back. It sucked not having a binocular though.

That's good to hear at least. I've had to rely heavily on Boomer for enemy marking since I can't access the Ultimate Hunter crafting item.

Yeah this happened to me too it sucks majorly. Hoping it resolves itself but I will be pissed if I can't make bombs anymore.

So I think the solution is to get to another Capture cutscene. The game usually removes you of everything during capture cutscenes and escapes.

I crashed in the loading screen in between the two scenes OP mentioned with Faith but OP didn't mention crashing. So the game must've not got the trigger to give the equipment back when transitioning. After being captured by Jacob, my inventory was completely restored.

In the meantime, if you have the perk for shops to sell the craftable bombs, buying them at the shops should restore them in the weapon wheel to craft.
