far cry 5 screen flashing on full screen mode!!

Help Please! far cry 5 screen flashing on full screen mode. It run on windowed borderless but frame rate lock at 60.

Does it flash white, black or a different colour?

Are you using the latest version of Windows? We've seen reports of this happening on specific Windows updates, but they were some from last year.

Thank for reply :) I already fixed the problem by disable other two monitor if I wann run ful screen mode(I run three monitors on my set up) or if I wann run three monitors at the same time, I just put the game in windowed borderless mode. The game work fine now...

Mine is now doing the same thing. It goes black then normal over and over again. I can put it in borderless window mode and it stops but then it is locked at 60. I am running a single monitor on a 1080ti, Windows 10.

Just want to report I am seeing the same issue.

Have 2x 1080's in SLI with 2 monitors. 1 is 4K with gsync (the one i game on). Fullscreen mode I get flickering between a black screen and image. Windowed borderless works fine. Seems to have started after most recent patch to game. I hadn't played in a awhile got a patch via steam and when I launched game had this issue. Previously game ran fine in fullscreen mode.

Have not yet tried to disable my 2nd screen and running fullscreen mode.

Hi - want to report the same issue. Running Windows 10 and also use a 1080. Started for me following the most recent patch. Problem occurs on 3K and 2K res and can be resolved using borderless mode (would really prefer to play on 3K though!)

I have the same issue on my laptop running GeForce GTX 1060, had not played in about 2 weeks and I start it up today and its blinking black screen.

Hi, can Ubisoft please confirm that this issue is being attended to? My report and Googalash's were made last week without reply.

Run game on windowed borderless mode seem to fixed the problem.

Hey all just a quick update.

I updated my system to the latest Nvidia driver released 5/24 and that seems to have fixed the issue. (Unless there was another Far Cry patch I didn't notice). Anyway fullscreen while having 2 monitors with SLI is working again.
