Anyone know how to get the activation key?

Want to add far cry 5 into the ubi connect manually, because apparently this game haven't been added to ubi connect even though I already bought this ♥♥♥♥, because I can't even launch the game without ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashing before ubi connect even booted up.

so where's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ activation key or CD key for Uplay?

It should automatically get linked to your Uplay account, you don't need to redeem any cd key and even then it doesn't have one to redeem anyway lol

Yes, that's how it works. Supposedly. Thing is, it's not even in my ubi connect account. Far Cry 5 still not being added even after I bought it legit way. And to open it through steam, it ALWAYS crash before it could open ubi connect.

So I think I should just refund this ♥♥♥♥ and just pirate it lol if no one here, including the dev themselves, able to solve this stupid-ass issue

Well that's a odd one :( Have you ran a file verify of far cry in steam just incase? A few post online say to do a fresh install of just uplay to fix the same issue.

Already done that. Already reinstall uplay. But the stupid issue still persist.
But hey, what exactly I been wishing for from ubisoft. My mistake for buying it legally. Should've pirated it instead lol

Fkn weird I'll say that, I only just bought it myself the other day and Its been working fine for me. I know Uplay itself can ♥♥♥♥ the bed often with connections issues causing problems.

Fkn weird I'll say that, I only just bought it myself the other day and Its been working fine for me. I know Uplay itself can ♥♥♥♥ the bed often with connections issues causing problems.

Ubisoft really always been encouraging pirating than actually buying their games legally lol. Buying their games doesn't mean we own them. So pirating it is. I'm done with this ♥♥♥♥

If the game isn't on your Ubi-account you have not Lnked the game to your account.
Most players fix this problem and if you search the forum yoy should fix this.
Pirating games because you can't fix this easy thing??

But I heard the game linked automatically right after you launched the game. In my case, the game just crashed out right, not even ubisoft connect windows open up, not being asked for activation key, not even an error windows, and I have ubisoft connect linked to steam. Besides, I have ac valhalla, ac origins, ac unity... all of them were automatically linked to my ubisoft connect without an issue. I've read your the suggestion from your link and all links that contained within it. But nothing resembled my issue, and if anything suggested there, I've done that, and still not working.

Well if I could I don't want to pirate it, cause I bought it in order to play with my friend.

Maybe I could screen record and see if you can tell the real issue is. Tho you should wait a bit, since I already uninstall it. Need to download it back.

step 1

install game

step 2
download the updated version of UBI connect .. install it
https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/ubisoft-connect#!

steam may install an outdated version with a game that's several years old ..........it could overwrite your existing version

step 3 VERIFY YOUR GAME FILES

step 4 restart STEAM and

launch ubi connect and make sure your logged in top the right account

start far cry 5

ALWAYS RUN STEAM AND UBI CONNECT WITH ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS ENABLED

if you stil have a problem contact UBI support

you may have a back round app blocking the launcher or the game itself

so try a clean boot as well

Could this be because I didn't install the hd texture pack? Since I have little space left so I unchecked that file. But since it'd be my first time booting the game, so all the available files need to be available for the activation key to register, don't you think?
