Does the Infamous achievement exploit still work?

For anyone unfamiliar the exploit goes like this:

1. Unlock NG+ with infamous difficulty (Beat the game once solo or co-op with the Resist Ending)
   
2. Start NG+ with infamous difficulty and liberate dutch's Island to unlock CO-OP
   
3. Join a player who is on the last level/checkpoint of the game who's on infamous difficulty
   
4. Beat the game with the player you joined

Why would someone want this?

• To save 10ish hours for one achievement

Does this exploit work on pc, if so can anyone help carry me?

Yes, it works. My friend joined me and we both got achievement last year.

I have savefile before final mission.

Doesnt ubisoft lock their farcry 5 saves for each of their own customers respective account?
