Stuck on "Running install script (Microsoft .NET Framework)" process
I have a brand new gaming machine on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. I have Microsoft .NET Framework 6.0.26 (x64) installed.

I start FC5 for the first time and get stuck on this "Running install script (Microsoft .NET Framework)" message, which I already have installed. The game doesn't seem to realize I have it already installed.

I found the .NET installer process running in the Background Processes section of Task Manager. After ending the task, Ubisoft Connect launched and asked me to bind FarCry 5 to my Ubisoft Connect account. The game is now registered on the Ubisoft Connect app.

Unfortunately, when I restart the game, it keeps "Running install script (Microsoft .NET Framework)." If I try and run the game from Ubisoft Connect, it launches from Steam, which runs "Running install script (Microsoft .NET Framework)."

The only way to run this game is to keep deleting the Microsoft .NET Framework installer process from Task Manager.

Can someone from Ubisoft please fix this?
