Lol, clearly another half broken boredom quest, but even by day what a boredom junk to search and search some hunting prey, with stealth, with wait and high point or with wandering.
But it's probably a typical junk of this series, awful for quests, main story, most side stories, good only for random wandering and a few generic activities if you are in the mood to make them..
It's really time those dev learn design properly something else than a random area.
EDIT:
And to be clear it's nothing new, can't say for FC2 that just felt tedious, but with FC3 already, main quests was junk, main story was most often junk, the game was marking just for random wandering and a few of the special activities.
Except it's FC5, dev should have evolve and progress. Ok still not time to go back to this series, perhaps FC10.
- This quest part activates multiple goal locations and the command to center on a location in map does nothing and none was ever close enough to my position when I checked, hence I didn't knew at all there was goal markers, and weirdly the video I checked none activated the quest and shown the markers, lol bad luck.
- Because I didn't saw the markers I followed wrong advice read, check hunt location on map with an orange brown background, this plus no clues on what was meaning exactly each hunt icon eat a lot of my patience.
- When I finally quoted the markers, I had troubles with illusions in the region, so multiple time was shooting what was perhaps a Pronghorn but nope an illusion. Not sure if there's a bug or an extra trick but I hadn't the cloud around the animal to hint it's an illusion.
- A junk translation translated it as antilope in French, so antelope in English, but the game has none this only generating more troubles with the quest. And frankly I don't know what's Pronghorn in USA but in game it's 100% female deer, sigh.
I finally got one that wasn't an illusion and that shown me what was Pronghorn for the game.
But the game bored me up to gave up not because of that, but the duplicate of a junk capture part I failed achieve again at first try (the timed parts where each kill or silent kill add seconds).
That game is dead forever for me I'll never touch it again and even less will ever buy it, I would request money to have it polluting my game library.
in fact...
So as you see, they are not simply "female deer".
