Game worth buying anymore?

SO it's on sale and I am considering buying the bundle featuring new dawn, season pass and this game. I hear FC6 was hot garbage but this one is generally considered good. is this game worth getting anymore or should I just skip?

This game is pretty good when modded and its easy to mod. Resistance Mod includes almost every good mod made for the game as an option except for Better Ballistics.

I vote it's worthwhile as a single player game. I bought the complete package during the last sale, and I've played through the main game and also Lost On Mars, Hours of Darkness, and Dead Living Zombies. I was a little disappointed with Far Cry 5 at first (comparing it to Far Cry 3/4) but I live in Montana and the game's interpretation of regional ambiance and landmarks kept me interested. It got better as I explored deeper into Hope County. The game is entertaining, visually pleasing, and often delightfully ridiculous. I completed the main game and most of its challenges more quickly than I did the previous open-world Far Cry titles--I think New Dawn is supposed to be Part 2? The AI feels less challenging than in earlier FC games. The three add-on packs have unexpectedly engaging stories and are well worth adding to your purchase. The game's Arcade feature is also surprisingly addictive and it also adds value and dimension to the main game. I'll probably start New Dawn this weekend.

It is GREAT game to buy (New Dawn "finishes" the story ) and the Resistance mod extends its replayability immensely.
FC 5 also has great ORIGINAL music I listen to outside of the game

And also, in FC 5, jump into a car a random driver is operating, and get a tour of Hope County and see all kinds of things you might not otherwise notice.

Of all Far Cry games, Far Cry 5 is the one I'm playing most. Due to the Arcade feature. There are lots of maps out there, with new ones being added daily. See https://maps.farcry.info/pc for an impression of maps for PC.

with the resistance mod is amazing single player experience. the ai is garbage tho...worse than fc4 and as bad as fc6

It has some negatives but I'd say it's worth it. I don't have a lot of time, maybe 1600-1700 hours, but I still play it. The game company did one thing that REALLY ticked me off but I can't say what it is or my post will be deleted, which has happened before. Despite that I still play.

I really like this one, + it's getting a graphics update this month. 5th anniversary edition or something, The story is great and the setting in the mountains. Lot's of hidden things to discover and good re-playability too.

It's just a FPS increase for console users. No updates for the PC version have been announced yet as far as I'm aware. But fingers crossed.

I also thought the Vietnam DLC was pretty moving

forgot to mention, FC5 Then there is WW2 two seat single engine style aircraft that are easy to fly (first time Im able to keep an airplane aloof in a game without crashing right away due to control difficulties) and can be used to strafe/bomb cult convoys and compounds. And watch out for the enemy planes and helicopters!

I'm not sure if there is any open world game that (certainly not earlier Far Crys save a home built "crudopter" in FC4) lets you grab a plane like that and take to the skies outside of a mission. That itself is a game and the Resistance Mod keeps those convoys coming even outside the missions.
