Where the mods at? ive only come across a couple. fun but curious where there are more if any,

Nexus will com up, but the one that seems to cover the most territory is Far Cry 5 Resistance mod

Besides the few on Far Cry Modding and the 20 or so lackluster ones on the Nexus, theres not much I'm sorry to say. the resistance mod is a must, but there could have been so much more. The modders just don't seem to care much about this game unfortunately

I dunno, if you look at the length and breadth of the Far Cry 5 Resistance mod, its just not a mod you install and forget about, it is as well a front end load utility for an assortment of mods done by at least a dozen or more authors that can be turned on or off as well as being able to edit aspects of weapons and rewards .

There is easily hundreds of packages in Resistance (I count 437 from an old backup) most of which could be catagorized as mods in other circumstances (mod authors often change just one thing and its a "mod," visit the Hearts of Iron 4 workshop for example)

Instructions on how to create your own packages for Resistance that will show up in the list are also avaiable with an active Discord community to help (too bad Discord information does not show up in a web search which often dredges up forgotten gems in old Steam community discussions).

Note that the Resistance Mod is only mods that were curated to be included in the Resistance Mod package. There are packages out there that are not part of the Resistance Mod.

One of the sources to find other mods is Discord, my site at https://mods.farcry.info/fc5/#GetMods should give an overview of mods posted there.

Most, if not all, of those consist of xxxxx.a3 files which are then downloaded and placed into the Reistance Mod install:
X:\MyInstallPath\FCModInstaller\ModifiedFilesFC5
(open the ModifiedFilesFC5 and put the xxxx.a3 file in there)

load up FC5ModInstaller.exe which is the part of the Resistance Mod in the \FCModInstaller folder.
Locate and select the file you added
Install> then run game

Mega Mods like Winter Hope has its folder ModifiedFilesFC5_WinterHope, placed "loose" into the X:\MyInstallPath\FCModInstaller

The install does not even have a named FC5Resistance mod type folder anymore which can be a bit confusing; as it is roped all under FCModInstaller folder and can accomidate mods most games in the Far Cry series ie 3, 4, 5, 5,ND, FCP (primal)

Anyway an amazinng piece of work that keeps these games fresh!
