Weird screen flickering

Hey guys,
for some reason sometimes the screen has an annoying flickering going on when I'm playing Far Cry 5, just like on an old CRT. After a while it's gone. Appears like every 20 minutes for around 30 seconds (maybe change of daytime / sunlight causes this?)
Im Using a 144 Hz screen with enabled Gsync, fps locked to 60.
This work fine for every other game. I changed a few settings but nothing seems to help.
HDR is disabled, none of the other graphics settings seem to do anything either.

Does anybody have a similar issue or knows how to fix this?
It's not gamebreaking or anything, but it's really annoying.

PS: While I'm at it: is there any way to activate proper texture filtering?
It does only work on some surfaces, for example NOT on roads or mud, which both look terrible.
Activating 16x via Nvidia Controls does nothing.

Try using a different cable to connect your monitor and see if the issue persists.

As the problem only occurs in Far Cry 5 it is not the cable.
