RTX 4080 Vram usage!

When i start the game it work fine, 130fps+ max settings on 4k, vram usage about 8gb, but as time goes on vram usage comes to 15,6gb of vram and fps starts dropping! 4080 have 16gb of ram and its impossible that its not enough for game this old! Any solution?

totally possible and yea in 4 k with HD textures you may need more V ram

uninstall the HD texture pack if you wish and check to see if v ram use changes

other wise may be a driver issue for Nvidia to sort out

please report that to them as yea they do goof up drivers often

I HAVE ZERO PROBLEMS with older Nvidia drivers on a rtx 3060 `12 gig ..so yes it may be a driver issue

Far Cry 5 has always been a massive VRAM hog it really loves to suck up VRAM, as someone already said Try disabling HD Textures and it will probably fix it completely.

But HD textures look great. Its really sad that 4080 with 16gb of vram cant handle this game.

No problem with textures at maximum with a gtx 1060 6gb at 1080p on the forklift pc and in 4k with the rtx 3080 10gb.
