you would be disconnected all the time as other players roam to far apart , as yes there is a tether system built into the game
you can play 6 vs 6 players in the Arcade mode , as the map sizes are smaller then the huge open world of the main game
Multiplayer
Deathmatch - Eliminate the other players. 12 players.
Team Deathmatch - Eliminate the other team. 6vs6 players.
the game was made with a pretty old engine as well . i think they have pushed the Dunia 2 engine as far as it can go to support multiple players and connections
as yes even in far cry 6...... co op is also limited to 2 players for co op campaign mode
(again the game uses an enhanced version of the dunia 2 engine )
if ya want to play with more players i suggest you use the far cry 5 arcade mode .. there are tons of maps to play on , that support more then 2 players
hopefully they will create a better engine in time , as i heard they are working on a new one for the future avatar game (called snowdrop) , but creating a game engine can take years
There are hardly any (NON-MMO) open-world games that even support 2 player co-op in the full campaign mode, let alone more than 2 players.
Especially considering it was released in 2018.
Ubi titles, no matter which, have never deserved any praise when it comes to any kind of online functionality. Or more often, lack thereof. Also, do the names Dying Light, Borderlands or Ghost Recon Wildlands ring any bells? All released previous to this title, mind you. I hope you at least got paid for this reply, otherwise you posted some really stupid cope for free, and that's even more pathetic
