Next right click far cry 5
Then click properties, then local files.
Next browse local files.
Then double click on your bin folder
Then double click on your easy anti cheat
There should be a application called easyanticheat_setup
Double click on that and he told me that it did a brief update and he was able to launch far cry 5.
I'd recommend checking the troubleshooting steps in the support article on easy anti cheat here[www.easy.ac]
Let me know if this helps!

first of all, the game worked up until i tried opening it on november 20th, is anti cheat a new thing in farcry 5? well I checked my files it says I have anticheat, so clearly the issue is not on my end, all my ubisoft games have been screwy, when one games works another does not, and as I have said before, only ubisoft games give me this kind of grief, this is not very customer friendly if you ask me
as I have said, its ONLY ubisoft games that give me this kind of grief, i installed the easy anti cheat certificate and verified files, that seems to have fixed the issue. still frustrated at ubisoft, half the time i want to play one game or another it doesn't work. if it was a computer issue i think i'd be havign issues with all games would i not?
