Nothing to do after beating the game?
I was having the most fun I've had in an open world game since the Witcher 3 until I realized once you liberate the zones all the enemies and fun disappears? It becomes a hunting/fishing simulator? Outpost master does nothing since its only instanced places and the world is still extremely empty. Why did they have to do me so dirty like this?

The devs expect the players to head into the Arcade next.

Yep. All you can do is start a new game if you have no saves before you did all the liberating, then you can avoid liberating two of the three areas (John and Jacob zones) by stopping at certain critical moments. Faith's region won't let you do that, but the other two can be permanently delayed so cultists remain all over the place.

Yeah they need to put in a setting to repopulate the roads/skies/waterways and then feed us new quest content through same system that does all those challenges.

But definitely not challenge style, give us some actual missions to do in the regular campaign map rather than kill 100 rats.

2 questions. If I do delay the 2 regions, does it include all cultists such as loot trucks and civilian rescues? And also what do I do to delay the liberation?

You can delay the two areas (John and Jacob) forever - you just have to stop at certain points.

The areas remain full of cultists because they don't actually get liberated, even though your Resistance Meter is full (and in one case you've killed the boss).

Faith's area is the only one you can't avoid doing.

John - don't go to Fall's End Church when he invites you.

Jacob - don't go to Jacob's Armoury after you've killed him.

Okay so If I do that will all of the cultists remain in the 2 areas? Like loot trucks and cult VIPS? And what are the certain points where I need to stop?
I edited post above with more info while you must've been writing this post.

Yes, haha i deleted it. Okay so I'll do that. I'm assuming I will never have access to outpost master if I do this but I guess i can't get everything I want

I deleted my post after you deleted yours :hmm:

Yeah it's the only way to keep cultists everywhere atm. I hope they reconsider this and add some way to repopulate the open areas, for me the Arcade mode doesn't cut it - it's a totally different feel to the main game (feels cheesy).
