Why did the Deputy outfit have to be burned!? it makes no sense

so the ingame reason for burning it was because wearing normal clothes was to hide the fact you're a deputy

but EVERYONE addresses you as the deputy

and the Cult attack you on sight regardless of what you wear

and everyone else gets to wear their uniforms.

i just want the deputy outfit back x.x

The devs obviously didn't think this through. Sadly the writing is not a strong suit of FC5.

how do you contact the devs and get them to add a mission where you get it back

just a side thought, on my second playthrough and um maybe I missed it, but is there and actual police department building or sheriffs station in this county? Would be the perfect place to find the outfit. Not to mention an actual police car with working sirens would be great. Hell while we are at it, what about a fire station, so we can get an fire axe, fire outfit or even fire truck.

the prison is where they came from i think, could be wrong though.

Sometimes you see a wanted poster with you on it, wearing whatever outfit you have on at the time ....

I think Dutch had you burn your outfit on the assumption the peggies only wanted you.
Then he discovered what exactly the 'Great Reaping' was - which was that they wanted everyone else, too.
Which is why they shoot at you regardless of what you're wearing.
