FAR CRY 5 CRASH FIX!

Good day!

This fix is for those who had the gaming issues like; sudden freeze when played for a while let say 5, 10, 15 minutes; or CTD [Crash To Desktop]; or got the "Oh no your game crash!" message.

Just ROLL BACK DRIVER your Graphics Driver from the Device Manager. Apparently it has something to do with the new Drivers that has issues and doesn't work well with FARCRY 5 [NVIDIA].

For Windows 10, in case for those who don't know where it is here's the steps;

1) Press and Hold Windows Key, and than press R. It will bring out the Dialog Box [CMD].

2) Type the following; devmgmt.msc

3) From there Device Manager will pop up, than extend Display Adapters [the > sign on the side)

4) Double click the Graphic Card.

5) Go to Driver Tab and you'll see the ROLL BACK DRIVER option.

6) Click it and it will take like few minutes for it to run and at this time your PC would like freeze and is totally normal. DONE!

Conclusion; before the fix i have tried stock setting for CPU and GPU, than ive tried overclock the CPU and GPU, both still still crash. After i bump into some forum and i tried this method and wow it worked!

re download the driver that worked to desk top , go get the DDU Tool , cleans out all drivers Nvidia & AMD , no need to run the tool in safe mode i run it as is, reinstall the driver you want or have on desk top , do custom clean install.
