Please, note that firing rate and firing mode are two different things not in any relation with each other.
That's why in Rainbow Six Siege the Scorpion EVO was so OP until it was nerfed. It's damage was nothing insane, but it's fire rate and recoil were so good that it was practically a laser beam that melted players, BB shields, etc.
The Vector is in the same boat really as the old Scorpion in that game, it has one of the fastest time to kill in the whole game. It kills things way too quick without headshots. It's most certainly the best SMG.
Yeah, like I said, those who got the Arcade skin version as reward in the community event have two Vectors instead of one. The "Classic" version is better IMO, it has more skins to select from and you are not forced to use the colorful skin to access the weapon.
