How are you supposed to save 3 hostages while in a boss battle in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sky?

what is this mission

the hostages get shot before i even turn around to see where they are

and if i get close to the other plan mine just explodes

Some missions have saving a certain number of prisoners as one of their objectives, but not all of them are required to be saved in order to complete the mission itself. Maybe it is the case?

yeh except you spend like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long ass road trip to get to a plane

you take off and then just as you near the guy, no go ♥♥♥♥ off save these hostages 3 miles under you

and if you're spotted flying over or parachuting down well to bad hostages die

if you ignore hostage, hostages die

if you take too long to get to the hostages, via parachuting not near them

hostages die

Which mission is this? I don't remember any like that. The only one I can think of is killing John, but...hostages?

MISSION RESTART AT THE PLANE!

You don't have to be in a plane or helicopter for that. I did the entire thing on foot. Bring a bow or silenced weapon, have Jess or a bow person with you, and just take out the peggies around them like you would an outpost.

Oh jeez you've got a whole 'nother set of problems if you're trying to fight John while doing that mission.
