i have owned the title since the day it shipped in 2018 , chose to buy it on UPLAY ONLY as all steam adds is more DRM

tho no they do not always enforce it for single player
at the same time they added support for CPU's that lacked sse4.1 sets needed for that software ..such as AMD PHENOM quad core or better cpu's , as those CPU lacked that instruction set at the hardware level , as AMD chose to go with 3d NOW on those CPU's
also as far as i am aware far cry 5 has no console access like older games such as far cry 1 had .. as this is a different version of the DUNIA 2 engine as was explained to me at E 3 2017 when i attended as a UBISOFT star player ..for FAR CRY 5 and spoke with the DEV team and got to play the game before anyone else (an alpha build of course of the falls end region )
