Sorry to hear that you are losing your progress and apologies for the delayed reply.
It sounds like you're running your game without Administrator Rights that prevents the game from creating/writing/editing files (such as, your save file) on your hard drive.
Can you please make sure to start the game with Administrator Rights with {LINK REMOVED}this link?

over all the game souldnt of had a 1 file slot save took me years to best the game due to the prolem
also you got to turn off clond saveing and only save to your pc not uplay saves

Hi Ubi,
So far i've tried reinstalling both Uplay and Far cry 5, then same again but on the same drive
tried fresh install no anti virus and all exceptions enabled .
tried fresh install admin rights.
tried turning off cloud syncro and manually backing up save. ( i have the save game files here)
tried turning cloud syncro back on and restarting.
everytime i check to see if the save game work i have to to play the whole intro scenes which is like 25 mins. so im pretty tired of trying now and im disappointed
