same way i bought far cry Primal , far cry 5 and many other UBI titles
but no i do not think UBISOFT will return to steam without a new revenue sharing package , as Valve takes 30 % off the top of the games and all DLC sold on steam .. epic and the MS store only take 12% ..hence UBI left steam in 2019
It has nothing to do with Valve getting a 30% cut(the same amount Sony and MS get from them but Ubisoft doesn't comply). It has to do with politics and China//Tencent/EGS trying to disrupt the PC gaming market.
Strange how Ubisoft doesn't "leave" Sony and MS when it comes to consoles, after all they get the same 30% cut there.
lol
Pretty sure as long as you can play it on PC you can still play it on here, just have to configure it yourself to allow it. Might require having to use a monitor... so might be redudant.
It just means they want to keep it on their online store.
For us PC geeks, it's simple. As for the casual gamer, it all seems to hardcore. People just want to purchase and play without the need to mess about with drivers, OS or the like.
Anyway, who is the steam deck aimed for ? hardcore PC users or run of the mill causal gamers.
