Should I buy standard edition or gold one? As I can't figure it out for deluxe edition either

Why the prices are different? must be the season pass included in gold edition, then what's about the deluxe one! Can't decide should I buy the standard or gold. Those who already had it might answer ! So help me out !

I had the same doubts as OP, but given that the discount is 80%... it was so little price difference that I went for the full combo pack that includes everything plus the New Dawn DLC.

what about new dawn DLC? is it recommended? also I will be playing any far cry game first time. so far cry 5 would be the best to start first or the games series is linked, means I have to play it's predecessor first?

I have not played New Dawn yet but I bought it. From the reviews I saw it is about as good as Far Cry and it is the "continuation" of the story.

As I mentioned... the price difference was so small that I could not justify ignoring it.
