Map Options
I am not sure if this is a difference between PC play and consul play (I am on PC) but I am finding that some functions in the map view I am not able to do. If you look at this video the whisky barrels are marked on the map https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0Cp0Faffuw There also seems to be a circular mouse option that can be moved over the map. I am not able to see these at all.

Once you take these kind of fetch and collect quests, the map that marks these locations on YOUR map is available to buy at gun shops, in the section you buy body armor in.. at the bottom.

I have taken this mission and it shows only one of the whiskey barrel on my map so I could retrieve that one as I knew where it was.

You have to BUY the map, and be standing in the proper region for them to show up.
