Controller, I assume? I guess they still haven't totally fixed what's been broke since release. The left trigger and dpad were broke for many people, and the last patch apparently fixed the dpad, but, not the left trigger.

hmm, then I'm not sure, it should be the S key to reverse on keyboard. Maybe you changed the default settings? Whatever key is for the brakes, should also reverse, I think.

I can turn and look 90 degrees back, pull joystick back towards me and we move back. Same as keyboard 's'.

It's a bug my friend got too once. Car should be able to go backward.

The vehicles move both forward and in reverse. No idea wtf the OP is going on about.

seems fine here with left trigger on a old logitech game pad for reverse
logitech dual action pad

check your steam settings for your controller ??? dunno

With a controller it can't be fixed. The same button (left trigger) used for AIM is also used for brake/reverse. The Left trigger works fine as an aim button but not for the brakes. That's an in game issue.

The B button WORKS as a crouch/slide button. The B button DOES NOT WORK in lowering the throttle of the airplane. It is clear that those buttons work in the settings. The problem is not the settings. The problem is in the game code. If the buttons work for one function it means they work, period.

I'm just telling you what worked for me as someone else posted this first as a fix in another topic about this issue. If you choose to argue why its a dev problem instead of taking the steps to solve it with a workaround, then so be it.
