Can't Change Character

Was trying to see if I can be able to change my character's gender on the spot like a few of my friends were able too, but for some odd reason I cannot.. Can someone explain why?

You can.

Press M to go to your map screen. Then click on the character icon (last one on the right). Then look at the bottom of the screen. You will see an option "Character Creation". Click that you you can completely rebuild your character (including gender).

It's still there. I guess you guys are just not good at following instructions.

(Only works in single-player ofc. Not co-op).

Map > Character tab > Press F

It's really not difficult...
