So that was the last Live Event?

Hi, so I just camped the live event page like I do every tuesday, waiting for the next weapon to show up.
It didn't. Arcade events renewed, but the live event tab did not refresh. I restarted everything but there's still nothing.

I take it that was the last Live Event? I heard that Ubi tweeted out that starting Aug. 7th, they will begin to recycle Live Events. This may be nice if you missed a live event, but who really gives a ♥♥♥♥ about the custom skins? The only reason I still come back every week to play this game - outside of making maps myself is to check out the exciting new weapons they added, and except for the dentist week, I was positively surprised by the quality each and every time a new live event started and gave me "early acess" to a new boomstick.
They are redoing events, but that does that mean there can't be ANY new ones? Is this just going to be an endless rotation of the same weapons?

So the real question is, do you know anything more than I do? Did the event refresh for you, is there a server glitch in typical Ubi fashion? Did I miss tweets announcing the end of the live event program?

I'm just sad I won't get to see my Glock or 1903.

Yeah the events were the only reason for keeping the game installed for me lol, i liked having something to do, a mission with a goal and reward. It's a pity there might not be any new ones anymore.

Exactly. I just tweeted asking if we EVER will gett new live events or wether we are stuck in this.

I too was mainly coming back for new live events. I can't believe they are already bailing on them

You would think Ubi would continue with these, instead of putting the final nail on FC5's coffin before the last DLC came out.

1) Most players completed these events already, so what would be the incentive to complete them again?

2) New players will get them, but if they reset the count on the community participation, the new players will never get the community rewards.

I'm of a similar mind-set as noted above. The only reason I played FC 5 maybe 1 hour a week was just for the weekly event rewards.

they need to rotate the rewards for NEW players that did not buy the game on launch .. or preorder ..so they can catch up and earn the previos rewards

you most likely will still be able to earn gold bars to save up to unlock the pertige weapons you never bought ..so replaying your game .. you start with more (better ) weapons already UNLOCKED ..and your able to equip

think about it they have to rotate the events to give new players the chance to earn the new guns

You should read the post, rerunning the old events is the plan.

Thinking they will let players rerun events they completed to get more silver bars is extremely naive thinking. They don’t give you silver bars for repeating the main game , they want you to BUY them....

It’s nice that they want new players to get weapons from past events, but so far they haven’t posted anything that would be an incentive for old players to repeat events.

Never used the Silver Bars, only liked the events to give me something to do in the game which gave a fun reward.

But they did the same for AC:O so its no surprise really.

That sucks. Would have been cool to see more new weapons. Honestly the only thing really left for this game is the zombies DLC.
