Well I'm sure that you wouldn't cheat in this game, so this probably won't apply to you, but...

If someone has used a trainer to cheat (resulting in the game not launching) then they need to go into the games directory, delete the "easyanticheat" folder, and then verify the games files in steam.

It takes a while, but it will install a fresh uncorrupted "easyanticheat", and then the game should launch as usual.

;)

Im sure thats not the issue here. I didnt play the game for some time, there was a huge packet of updates i was running.
I got this issue with UPLAY where it is not installed correctly and gives u a error report so i reinstalled uplay.

Now if i start my game from steam, it says that im ingame for like 5 seconds, and then noting... no launcher, no uplay starting, nothing at all.
I gues i have to contact game support for this

For me it was Uplay corruption -- just loaded (right/context click) "previous" version of the entire Uplay folder and that fixed it for me. Then Uplay will update itself when you start the game.

If you are on a PC try launching the game from the actual executable file and use admin privileges.

i did already, no response

let me clear this up:

I admined everything, steam, the game exe, even uplay, easyanticheat is not the issue i since i know i never used any cheats or trainers
now the problem:

I start the game from steam, or the steamfolder, it will open uplay, and thats where the process stops.
Steam says im ingame for couple of seconds. Thats it, no blackscreen, no crash report, no nothing.
Maybe someone has similar issues

Sorry :( ... but maybe I wasn't clear ... you need to get to the "Ubisoft Game Launcher" folder and restore a previous version/copy of the entire folder. On Win 7 Pro it saves previous versions of the folder every time I play the game (maybe 4 or 5 previous versions). ... unless you haven't played it for long time. Anywho, to get to that folder, right click on Uplay shortcut and select "Open file location" ... then do check for the previous versions. You can also find the folder (at least on Win 7): C: -> Program Files (x86) -> Ubisoft -> Ubisoft Game Launcher.

Consider yourself lucky. once you do get the game started, Uplay will cause CTDs and disconnects anyway. Either way... U. Dont. Play.

its definetly not my computer since i was able to run this game perfectly fine before. I stopped playing the game for couple of months, so as i wanted to play again there was a huge patch around 50 gb, after that i wasnt able to play it anymore.

Currently dealing with this same exact issue three years later. Never buying a Ubisoft game again.

While the solution is mentioned above and you say you have the exact same problem this sounds pretty ...censored.
