how to get Nick Rye to follow you on foot
Go to the 8-bit pizza bar where all your GFH hang out and just assaign him while your looking at him and he will follow you on foot. :)

side note;
pretty sure if u fast travel Nick will then show up in his plane

you want nick to be on foot but nick does not have any feet or legs. so thats why hes never out the plane
