Far Cry is a predominantly story-based game. So if that isn't what you wan't go play something else?
FC5 is really a lot different to previous entries in the series in many respects. For example;
. GFH
. Co-op whole game
. more emphasis on humour and mayhem
. USA setting
. Fishing
. Planes and helicopter gunships
Plus many other differences.
Considering the low # of current players vs. the number of copies sold vs. the higher # of players for lower priced games, Uplay definitely put one over on the player-base.
Erm...
. GFH - had that in Far Cry 4. Albeit, it was mainly hurk and other NPC's but you still had guns for hire.
. Co-op whole game - that's slightly better than what was in Far Cry 4.
. more emphasis on humour and mayhem - in what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way??? Which parts of the game were funny?
. USA setting - this may be the only positive in your entire list...
. Fishing - this... is not a positive.
. Planes and helicopter gunships - that materialise out of thin air and glitch out of existence at times... not a pro in this case - definitely a con.
Finally, I have found other FC3 fans. It was my series favourite.
