If you have no money for even thermal paste than try dropping the volts on your CPU if you can and if needed underclock it.

While he was rather blunt, he is correct on the thermal paste. It is important or rather a necessity, as it facilitates the transfer of heat off the cpu to the heatsink.
Pretty much every modern eletronic device with a cpu has thermal paste between it and the heatsink.
It's no wonder you are overheating, it's like shooting yourself in the foot and wondering why you can't walk.
For one thing, there is zero need to call people names. If you can't take some critisism, honestly, don't post dumb things.
What you are saying is completly false. It didn't come with thermal paste? First thing you should have done is return that PC...or learn about PC's before doing whatever it is that you did. If you refuse to use thermal paste, then the next best thing is thermal pads. But they aren't as good as paste.
I do agree with Dukey Nukey to an extent...if you are going to neglect your rig, regardless if it's 'clean', than it deserves to overheat. Thermal paste costs like, 6 bucks and some common knowledge about PC's.
Or, you can do what SOF said, if it's a laptop, get a cooling pad.
But, again, the only person here to blame is you. Zero thermal paste on your CPU is just asking for problems. If you don't have 30 bucks for the combined said things, then you have a bigger problem then your overheating.
Maybe OP took the thermal paste off his console too. lol
I just looked at the sun, and now I'm blind...now I'm angry at the sun for blinding me.
And if you are playing other games with no thermal paste, chances are you are going to fry your CPU/MOBO, forcing you to get a new one. But if you can't afford 6 dollar thermal paste, I highly doubt you are going to be able to afford a $200 CPU. You are just causing undo stress to something that can be easily fixed.
Only person to blame here is you, not the game.
