Does the 15gb hd texture pack make any visual change while playing at 1080p?

If you have 4k display and capable rig, then yes.

then use Nvidia Dynamic Super Resolution, it can be turned on in the nvidia control panel under the Manage 3d Settings tab. just enable it and select all the boxes in its options menu and apply. it will allow you to turn the resolution all the way up to 4k and then scales it back down to fit your monitor resolution. makes games look really good, if your pc can handle it of couarse.

It doesn't make a huge difference visually or fps-wise.

I havent bought the game yet and this is one of my big concerns. What the heck Ubi were thinking I have no idea. To create this great map and then wreck it with this silly gameplay mechanic.

Yeah basically if you are running around @1080p you really are not going to notice judging by that video.

I mean like everything if your machine can do it fine, but I know mine would take a performance hit as it just does 60fps at 1080p as it is. Its not worth the performance hit in my case.
