in my opinion, I think using perks to unlock all available weapon slots is a must.

There is only one loadout: Grenade launcher sidearm, Bow, Shotgun, and AR

MP5-group SMG's are inaccurate pellet guns with no reserve ammo capacity and you can't find rounds off enemies. Pistols or sidearm SMG's are literally better.

Semi-auto rifles and snipers can't take down even basic enemies in one shot unless you have aimbot-grade head tracking. They're even more worthless for hunting compared to an AR or shotgun, as every deer, goat,and skunk can take four rounds to the head and keep running (usually away). I get more cultists headshots with a pistol or shotgun at range anyway.

LMG's shoot sideways, making them essentially worthless against anything other than a vehicle you're standing right next to.

Rocket launchers? waste of a good weapon slot and pointless except in specific situations. For all other encounters, a grenade launcher sidearm will get the job done to make vehicles go boom.

Nade launchers are pretty OP, great for vehicles and helicopters, as helis like to hover, so easy to one shot with nade launcher. do like LMG also, as chews up planes very nicely with increased damage against vehicles perk. I also have a sniper rifle to pop sipers and alarms before carpet bombing them with the nade launcher, AR for general pewpew.

I switch in bow for hunting, with perk 4 skins per animal gives some tidy bank.

the rocket launchers are actually good to take out those cultist trucks that patrol in groups of 3 on the roads, they are good at taking out convoys, just drive in front of them, get out of your car, start firing.

Hire one of those resistance fighters with a rocket launcher, that way he can fire and you can fire at the same time, cultist convoy = destroyed in just under 5 sec

Hmm, seems that the general consensus is that the sniper rifles are underwhelming at the very least, even the .50 cal.

Silenced sniper for mid to long range stealth.
Bow for short to mid range stealth and animals.
Shotgun sidearm for close range when they know I'm here.
Silenced assault rifle for everything else.

One thing my loadout is lacking, is anti vehicle / air power. Currently have liberated only one zone (Faith's), so only have stuff unlocked that require up to lvl 3 resistance or you get from her zone.

how were you able to swap out pistol? I couldn't.

Range of zoom with scopes kinda suck tho with sniper rifles, Plus how long you hold your breath is only a coupe of seconds.

The shotgun is sidearm one, not normal shotgun.

I find keeping a sniper team mate is OP. Literally plucks out Heli and Vehicles like nothing.
As for loadout, I only have the two slots as of yet... Still only on Faith's Zone with around Lvl 2 Rep?

Did they really remove the machete? I've only seen the throwing knives so far.

The only bladed melee weapons I have seen so far is the knives that you throw. I saw a frying pan in the trailer, have not found that yet. There is also chain you can use in takedowns, have not found that either.

I don't understand why they would remove the machetes entirely. Seems logical to give people more choices, not less.
