It took me about 20 tries on hard. Yes, it's BS. No, the answer is not git gud. I challenge anyone who says "git gud" to this to record themselves replaying this mission 3 times in a row, surviving 3 times. I see a lot of people posting that it's easy and that others just suck. Please - put up or shut up.
The consensus I believe is that the first half is the difficult part. In the first half, enemies come from all around you. Hell, at one point when the driver says "to my right", you can't even shoot those guys but they can get hits on you. IIRC this is where the enemies on the quad bikes spawn.
Anyways, tips:
1) use all your medkits by the time the plane flies by. After this, the enemy spawns are more linear. You should be able to take them out as they come
2) At the start, try to headshot the first driver that chases you. You will probably need to heal as you approach the next enemy checkpoint.
3) The section with the quad bikes / train tracks; try to nail them once they get in a straight file behind you. One opportunity is when the car goes on an uphill just before the plane arrives. They should be right behind you at this point.
4) staying in the car is not a good strategy. It helps a little, but you do need to take the enemies out.
5) The end of the sequence happens when you get on a bridge.
This needs to be changed.
I stuck it on hard for a challenge, not for the game to be like "you happen to get hit by random bullets that you are completely incapable of dodging, try again."
thats nice the more u try the more hardcore player u are if u make it on hard =)
for others:
if u want a challenge then people shouldnt complain it is hard on a hard mode then u should really go back to normal or easy if u wanna make out the game, but for hard u should keep trying on and on if u wanna make it out on hard.
Hint, death grinding until you happen to make it through is not a challenge. It's just waiting for the number generator on the computer to roll a miss instead of a hit.
Took me like six runs to make it through and the funny part is it was the run where I was like "♥♥♥♥ it" and didn't fight anyone except the trucks that jumped out in front.
Literally made it from the ATV to the bridge with no health left at all.
Basically, git gud.
