Runs like crap but my specs are decent.
I dont know if anyone else is having this problem. I jumped on the game last night after work and it wouldnt let me play. Said I had to install a new driver. After I downloaded the new NVidia driver I got on and on the lowest settings i get 15-25 FPS and it has all kinds of lag issues. The Vram counter at the bottom says Im using 2.08 out if 1.96 gb. thats at 1080 with every other setting at low. my specs are
i7 6700T
8GB DDR4
GTX 960
IM like 99% sure I have at least the minimum so I dont know why its running so poorly. any help would be very appreiciated.

GTX 960 just barely squeeks into minimum requirements. The game runs, poorly, but it runs which is all you can count on with minimum specs. Sorry.

To clarify, GTX 960 is 1% faster than GTX670. Don't be mislead by the 9 into thinking a 9 series card is way better than a 6 series. The second number is the important one, 8 being best.

Try to play the game in lower resolution??

Strange i am running with a intel core i5-6500, 16 gb ram and GTX 960 4 Gb Vram. I play on normal with no AA and i get with the benchmark 53 average FPS with minimal of 48 and max of 63 FPS. And with resolution 1080-1920.

Could it be the driver screwing with the games performance? I'd heard a few other people saying it ran like crap once they installed it.

Try this, V-sync in game OFF. Go to Fullscreen, Exit Game

Go to Nvidia control panel,

3d Options:

Turn triple buffering ON, set V-sync to FAST. Turn Threaded Optimization ON, go to texture filtering quality, and turn it to HIGH PERFORMANCE, go to Power and change that to Prefer MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE.

Configure Surround, PhysX,

Change the Processor setting to your video card, instead of Auto.

Apply everything.

Launch the game.

To me it sounds like the game is using your integrated graphics.

When you install a new driver sometimes the settings in Nvidia control panel reset themselves.

To solve this open up Nvidia control panel and select Manage 3D settings.
Now in global settings scroll down to power management and set that to max performance.
Then scroll down a bit further to where it says something about OpenGL and select GTX 960 (default setting says automatic which is not what you want)

Don't forget to click Apply before you close the control panel.

Same here, I have a GTX 960 and an i5 4590 with the absolute same problem. I really hope they release a patch for optimization.

Can one of you do what I posted to test it and see if you get an increase?

I've heard it's something with the new update, making it run poorly for some people. Yesterday when it got released I was running High settings with no problem on 60 fps. Today I turned it on and I'm running the same settings on lower fps even if i lower my graphics settings

as much as i would love to I cant, I'm at work using my phone for this. But I will definitely try it as soon as i get home.
i7-4790k, 32GB ram and gtx 1080 here, getting 50-70 fps here. (could be over 100 but cpu is aging) and got all on max 1440p except for shadows and AA.

So might be your gpu.
