Tanker Trucks

Do the cultist tanker trucks respawn? Just curious, because I'm on a mission where I have to capture two but there are none anywhere and they seemed like they were all over the place before.

They keep appearing. Horribly annoying mission. Got my first truck easily and spent the last 2 evenings trying to get another one. Would make for a hilarious video if I had captured all the different failures.

Some people go searching in an aerial vehicle, but I'd say just stay in one small area. The different special vehicles will spawn, prison vans, weapon trucks, and gas tankers. Then just pray you can manage to stop one and drive it back without losing it somehow.

I stayed at an intersection near a gas station just down the road from the main little town area where you need to bring it.

Also recommend the skill that repairs vehicles as you drive them.

I've been looking around using a helicopter following the roads at about 10ft off the ground - it seems that everything stops spawning after a little while in a helicopter.. No traffic (civilian or cult), no people, no animals. The entire world dies after 3-5 minutes in the air for me.

You can ignore the mission if you want and still get credit. For the two complete playthroughs that I have done, I ended up killing John Seed before completing this mission. In both cases, the mission status changed from active to completed and registered in my completed mission count. Appears to be bugged as this is the only mission to behave this way.

Such an annoying dumb mission, but here is the easiest method i've found to beat it. It took me about 10-15 minutes maybe.

Completed the requirements using this method, but the mission still didn't complete/give rewards. It remains in my unfinished list even though all the requirements are met. It's truely bugged to F&^%.

I had a box truck looted on its own when I was in the area, one of my resistance guys must have done it for me, I didn't see it, but saw the 75 resistance points for it

as for the tanker trucks ya just need a nice shot through the windshield to hijack it, use a weaker gun so ya don't risk hitting the tank

I can Untrack it from the mission list, then click on it to Track it again, and as soon as it's active it lists and checks off the requirements in the top left hand corner of the screen. It marks two tankers as being completed but does not activate any rewards and fails to finish/remove itself from the available mission list.

I have yet to do the Last Campaign mission in the area (plane fight) but didn't expect that to be part of the requirements because it's not listed when the objectives are checked off.

I've also done one more tanker but even with the mission active/tracked - it doesn't provide a waypoint in Falls End to travel to, and leaving a tanker in the same spot doesn't trigger anything either...

Expect it to turn over when I finish the last Campaign mission in the area, but I don't know if it'll give the rewards as it should have done already...
