if you play far cry during the free weekend , you'll get a Far cry 5 "limited" option
- no possibility to pick language or set subtitles in game

Limited refers to how far you can get in the game story, nothing to do with subtitles.

- no way to enable subtitle
- only english ( text, UI )
- no able to choose other language
- no option to DL the HD pack texture
- arcade editor , turn off

so yes player was able to play the "full"story in -game but there's some few quality of life contents or other thing was turn off .

i test the free weekend , and i get on sale the game on ubisoftconnect .
build game 're not the same
all online feature from ubisoft club was turn off ..

we can argue on those matters but Ubsoft was adertasing : get a full exprience of far cry 5 "

for player not fluent in enlish even to have the subtitle on english can make the player more immersive . and i don't talk about all others players that can't understand english :)

That would be due to the region restrictions. Contact Ubisoft Support about it.

Also, the game was on sale on steam the week before.

for more info .
when i buy the game on my setting language preference , get the full game with all options to DL pack languages , and by default subttile was enable .
may i guess wrong , the build on free weekend trial feel an NFR realase , not the commercial realase with support language enable .

Apologies for the late response.

Thanks for the update, I'm pleased to hear that you were able to download the relevant language pack and enable the subtitles after purchasing the game. I am unsure why the language options and subtitles were unavailable during the free weekend trial, however I will forward this feedback on.
