Xbox 360 controller?

Alright, might have found a fix to get the D pad working. you go into Big window mode or hit the xbox button on the controler when you are playing, it should bring a steam menu look at controller config

click on it and you should, i say should becase i tried this once it didnt work but this second time it is working

Change Down on the D-pad ot T
Change Up on the D-pad to Z
Change Left on the D-pad to G
Change Right on the D-pad to H


can anyone tell me what buttons you press on keyboard to change your throwables or switch between your diffrent Melee weapons i'm at 116 minutes and i still have no decided if i'm going to refund the game yet, if i hit 120 its 2 hours and i can no longer Refund the game

It worked automatically when i started the game, must be some driver issue for those complaining.

all my drivers are up to date. controller has always worked with Farcry 4 any of the AC games, even the ones i had to program the controller myself, that was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pain in the ass to do.

I dont know why it doesnt work for you, for me it worked right away, i made this thread cause i heard people complaining that it didnt work and was worried but when i started the game i had no issue at all.

you were one of the lucky ones. i've been finding people having similar problems with 360, ps3, ps4 and Xbone controllers, the latter are the ones that are supposedly "supported"

I wonder what the problem could be, hopefully they will release a patch for it soon.

if they even care. the games ratings have been positive so they may not bother to fix the issues of what they could consider a niche group

Controller issue is a big thing though so they should fix it.
