Car chase at beginning on hard

Anyone having a lot of trouble with this part? I keep getting destroyed over and over again and I don't really want to swap difficulty. I unload full mags into the drivers behind me but they just keep driving foward. Is it all scripted? Should I not even lean out?

Congrats DarkFatz. I'm about to give it another go but I think I'll go down in difficulty before I rage uninstall, and reset it afterwards.

This stage is difficult. I find the driver himself aims better then everyone else in the car. The second you kill everyone not driving the truck, the driver comes out with his super aiming and driving skill simultaneously. This level is BS. How is it dynamite is not blowing up the trucks. I have had plenty of perfect tosses with explosions under these vehicles.

I didn't, but then I'm using a mouse and keyboard with excellent precision. When I noticed my health start getting low I just went back inside the truck, healed up, and then started shooting again.

I wish it were that easy. AIs aim when leaning back in the car seems to increase. I get hit less when leaning outside the vehicle. I almost dont want to lean in and heal.

Setting to Easy works on first try. F*ck that level, life is too short. I didn't try normal. Hopefully I can now enjoy the rest of the game on hard since I think normal is too easy for the main open world game play from what I've seen.

Ed: Once you get past that point its a good open world game.Certainly more entertaining than FC4.

well it took me loads of trys before i finaly did it but i did it on hard. not easy by a long shot. what i did was use handgun to shoot through the front rather then out the back with the rifle all the time.i found i did not get hit this way as much and when using the rifle I changed the fire mode to the burst shot fire mode or whatever you call it. short single bursts when aiming down the site taking out the drivers. when i reached the train yard i lit the fuse and held on to it a few seconds before i throw it out the window not looking out the window when i did it.. this way i took the cars out and it gave me enough time to quickly pop the biker with the rifle..from that point i just used the handhun and right before the bridge (end) use the rifle.

It took about fifteen or twenty attempts, and probably a good bit of luck. Also, you can use the pistol instead of just the terrible machinegun they give you.

I can't tell if this is a bug, or a feature. Maybe the vehicles all have more inherent driver-protection? This part is *still* just awful on Hard, which is bad - so early in the game. Even dropping it to easy I had a much harder time specifically killing the truck drivers (though - at that setting - they were in no danger of killing me.)

It took me maybe 5 or 6 attempts on Normal.

Here's the kicker, though... on my last try, I got the dynamite, missed a lob, and gave up out of frustration. I decided to just sit in the car. And magically, I barely got shot. I just sat in the car. I didn't use a single medkit or shoot anyone at all except for the machine gunner at the end.

I was livid.

WHY WHY WHYYYY IS this such an amazing and TERRIBLE level!!!!!!!!!! whyyy HOW many times i have replayed it... from hard went to medium difficulty... then to easy then i even enabled AIM ASSIST! still i die at around damned racist plane flyby....

On hard difficulty? There’s a lag, which causes you to get shot before you can shoot them. Stay in the car and use medkit. Then hit a car with dynamite at the train. When the airplane scene starts, which you must go through, shooting in front of you works. That’s a far easier part with no need for medic. I don’t recommend the gameplay, but the story is shining. Far Cry 6 is so much better in gameplay.
