(Solved) How to locate "Some" of the pre-order / DLC items"

Currently only missing content is the "Doomsday Prepper Pack"

Far Cry 3 Release date - is due around summer
(the additional episodes have not current ETA as of yet)

The quickest way to check if you the DLC / pre-order content or not is by doing the following

To check for the MBP Sniper Rifle, Big Game Hunter Pack, Ace Pilot Pack,

From the games title screen

Title Screen --> Arcade --> Open Arcade --> Switch Tabs to the Shop
--> Search in the Weapons and Clothing Tabs --> Scroll down to the bottom of each catagory to locate the items your looking for.

the following items indicate if you have the DLC packs or not
The Big Game Hunter Items - The lime green outfit and Compound bow.

The Ace Pilot Pack - Altho the Deluxe edition picture shows them as blue,,, in game they appear as green with arrows on them.

The MBP Sniper Rifle - Look for the "Gold And Steel MBP"

To find the "Chaos And Explosives Packs"
you'll need to go to the main game check inventory and look for "The Fast" and "The Furious" drugs, as for the explosives packs,,, i cant answer that as im not sure if the current proxy mines im carrying is from the explosives pack or if i picked them up or not.

so Currently the only content that "should" currently be missing is the "Doomsday Prepper Pack"
(i cant locate the gun or the outfit in arcade)
so in regards this this,,, im waiting on ubisoft support's reply, and ill update this once i get news.

ok seems i've managed to find the big game hunter and ace pilot outfits

when you clear dutchs island and the other menu items unlock

once the "online" option appears.
they should appear then, noticed the outfits when i was fiddleing around with the arcade farcry character,,, checked my main character and their appeared....

not sure about the weapons / skins and rides...
but it seems to only be the DLC items (clothes at least) and the ubisoft club items (the rainbow six suit) has unlocked...

the pre-orders "doomsday prep stuff hasn't been added"
,,,, and yet ubisoft employes have still yet to comment on this....


and waiting till december 2018 for the stuff to correctly unlock can kiss my white ass!

Well not even all Ubisoft Club items. The Far Cry Primal outfit isn’t even in the game anymore yet it says on the rewards page it is.

The day one gun isn’t even in the menus.

So what’s up with this?

If you are having trouble finding your pre-order content or any other day 1 content that comes with the edition you've purchased, please make sure to check this guide to locating content.[support.ubi.com] If you're missing content after checking this, please reach out to us at support.ubi.com so we can assist.

To clarify, Season Pass[support.ubi.com] holders will receive their copy of Far Cry 3 four weeks before it launches for a standalone purchase in summer 2018. Therefore, you will not have it at launch.

To get the gold stuff you have to delete your ownership file and veirfy cache with steam the ownership file is in C:\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership however the pre-order skins are still missing.

i found a some-what faster way to check for the big game hunter / ace pilot / sniper rifle items..
(follow below's step)

sadly it seems waiting for a reply regarding the chaos and explosive packs and the doomsday pack from unisoft is all we can do...

BUT
to be able to find out if the other items appears
fastest way i found was by using the online modes arcade bit
using the clothes and weapons tabs on there i managed to find :-

the gun (which appears to be green instead of blue according to the picture,
the outfit (which also appears to be green o.O,,,, i must be going colour blind,,,, or tripping im sure the ace pilot pack is "blue")

the green compound bow,
the green outfit,
the gold and steel sniper rifle (which im guessing is the pre-order sniper rifle)


---- to find where you need to go ----
Title Menu - Arcade - Open Arcade - RB to shop menu(change tabs)
then search for the outfits and the weapons from there :).

sadly as stated the dooms day prep outfit doesn't appear nore does the gun :<
the .44 Magnum does, not sure about the AR as i forgot to check <


(also, if someone could quote this thread so i can "mark it as the answer" i'd be greatful... sadly cant mark myself, that way this gets slammed to the top and makes it easier for everyone :) )

the doomsday prep items have clocked up onto my account.
so with any luck everyone elses should be fine.

(figured it'd be nice to at least comment and the status,,, unlike the leak of replies in the support case to ubisoft...)

Umm why is Far Cry 3 Launching after Far Cry 5? Im not good at number and but this seems wonkey. (Also I have never played any of the previous FC games so bear with me)

the far cry 3 thats included in FC5,,, will be the same FC3, just with FC5's graphics...or so im presuming (no idea if that will include the DLC from the original)

we'll have to wait and see
