Far Cry 5: Access is Denied (Easy Anti Cheat)

Okay, so firing up the game for the first time and getting access is denied. This is the second game I have had issues with on Windows 10 Pro with Easy Anti Cheat breaking my games. Any solutions?

I have gone into the task manager and "ended" easy cheat...if it's running. That will normally allow me to run the game.

Tried that, also reinstalled the EasyCheat and same outcome.

Well it doesn't seem to like ccleaner that's for sure. I paused my singleplayer game and ran ccleaner just to test and the game closed to desktop with an error that said something about game security violation.

for those who have rgb fusion its a problem... close the SelLedV2 process in task manager. i found it by elimination closing processes 1 by 1 then trying the game, maybe you guys could try the same. sorry for my english lol.

EAC is so garbage. Why would they use it? Isn't that what Dead by Daylight used? A game that was overrun by hackers and account cheaters? Lol.

It's definitely a eac problem.
I got around it by going into the system files for far cry 5, running the eac program in "repair service"
Going back to the bin, and running both "eacLaunch.exe" and "farcry5.exe" as admin, eac before the game.

Do you stream by any chance? EAC will not run the game with streaming software running, have to start the game first then the streaming software.

I had this issue and figured out it was detecting my streaming software and wouldn't run with it running. I have another game that does this as well.

Yeah I'm dealing with the exact same issue, it was running fine and then I started end processes to open up memory space and ended Easy Anti Cheat and that caused my game to close and now I'm getting the access denied. I already tried the simple fixes, verifying the game files, flushing the steam config, uninstalling and restarting my computer. I'd try to refund the game but I have over 2 hours in it so I doubt I'll get the refund, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I spent $90 on this game and can't even play it anymore.
