IF YOUR GAME DOES NOT LAUNCH/START (UPDATE)

My game would not launch. It said running for a second and then it would close. To fix it I went to the install location and right clicked FarCry5.exe>compatibility mode and set it to run as administrator and set compatibility for Windows 8.

I am on Windows 10 x64 bit.

Update:

I closed the game and tried to re-open it and I got the same launch problem again. I got it to work a second time by by going to the install directory and right clicking FarCry5.exe and clicking Run as administrator.

It did that to me too when I tried to run EACLaunch.exe. Make sure you're doing the above solution to FarCry5.exe.

I tried running as administrator and now it's giving me three errors. "vcruntime140.dll was not found", "msvcp140.dll was not found", and "vcruntime140.dll was not found" again. I think it's because I uninstalled the C++ files when I uninstalled the game. But I have no idea how to reinstall them. I thought steam would have installed them when I reinstalled the game.

Thanks for that. What I did was install the C++ files from the Microsfot website and enabled admin priviledges, and that seemed to do the trick.
