Yeah. I have seen some stream of single player campaign and it looks like you can cboose your gender. There is screen with male/female manequin dressed in cop clothes.

You can customize the character too I think, but I dunno what the point is since its first person anyway

You can choose your gender and customize your appearance and clothes like you do in wildlands.
The point is coop, and of course, implementing micro transactions (not so micro) to sell you all kinds of esthetic stuff.

I always play has something different then myself, so female for me too it seems. At-least first playthrough

A female character wouldn’t be a bad idea now, even if it’s only aesthetically different. Every other Far Cry game put us in the shoes of a male character, after all.

why would it matter, male female, it's the same thing, you won't notice any gameplay differences nor does the character talk like in fallout 4, so to me playing female makes no sense, since it's practically similar to male, just different body model. A body model you can't see anyway since no 3rd person so gender is irrelevant.

Im a PvP player and will definitely be playing my own gender. It will be a nice change from previous games and I very much enjoy customizing my character. I won't get to see my character all that much but others will and I like to look nice.

I think that you will be able to see your masculine/feminine hands and legs when kicking. I am guessing that there will be photomode so screenshots and sound effects will be diffrent like noise you makr when u patch yourself up or fall etc. Co-op and customization screen. Your friends will see you etc.
