Even though i bought the gold edition i do think its a little expensive however when i take into account the hundreds of hours im going probabaly to pump into FC5 the prices will probabaly justify itself in the long run.

I guess it depends on the rate of inflation, the exchange rate and the cost of production.

Don't get me wrong, I'm from the UK and I'd love the game to be cheaper.

Looking at my purchase history, I bought the Deluxe version of Far Cry 3 in December of 2013 for just over £6. I got Far Cry 4 "free" with my GPU so I haven't actually shelled out a lot for what is probably my favourite franchise, both of those games have been played through at least 3 times.

Far Cry 5 is £40 from Uplay with the 20% off for Uplay coins, if the game delivers that's quite a lot of entertainment for the money. It would be the most I've ever shelled out for a game but I would happily pay it. As it is it looks like I'm going to have to hold off as I've come down with a chronic case of tennis elbow and hammering Far Cry 5 for a month really won't help that.

And now, Assasins Creed: Origin, with a massive 40% discount, is £29.99.

Yep you do that, that's like a minimum of 6 years from now. Ubisoft just had a huge sale, and far cry 3 was 60% off.
