Worst one for me was one of the first plane ones in John's area, can't think of the name of it right now but that one took me like 20 tries. After that the rest were more or less a breeze.
this game totally sucks when it comes to implementation of the winged suit
Just Cause 3 is like a million times better at this
I have to wonder if the developers completed this course themselves with a keyboard, or if they used a controller.
Games made for PCs should be able to be completed using a keyboard and mouse.
Also, a more obvious way to quit (or rage quit) this side mission should be put in (at the moment, you have to hit Escape and click on "Quit Mission" - but you have to do so at the start of the countdown).
1. Do it during the game's day time--you need to see where you are going.
2. Consider turning off all in-game sound to reduce distractions.
3. In the Options, consider setting "Invert Wingsuit Pitch" to off; this may give you a more natural direction to the pitch control, but this is a purely personal preference.
4. Take your hand off the mouse--you don't need it! The mouse is only used for free-looking in the wing-suit, and if you free-look you will quickly loose all sense of direction.
5. For Lord of the Wings, when the countdown ends at the start, back up a bit (not too far), and then sprint forward, before jumping off the edge, then deploy the wing suit. By backing up you give yourself more momentum when you jump off the edge, and therefore more room to deploy the wingsuit, and you will be less likely to land on the ledge below (which will usually end the round).
6. Once airborne, just TAP the direction keys (WASD), do NOT hold them down. The wing-suit is very sensitive to key presses. It is better to make several quick taps, rather than one long key press.
7. It is OK to miss one or two of the beacon-rings. On Godspeed, I missed about 6 (at the beginning--just flew over them) but still finished in time.
8. Give yourself a pat on the back when you succeed!
