red crosses with letters...meaning?
so i know its a vauge statement but so far i have seen 2 red crosses with a letter at the bottom of each. i cant remember the letters but i think i saw near the edge of some water ways. just curious if anyone has found some meaning to these like a puzzle of some sort or maybe a quest i havent gotten to yet? idk 35 hours in and i havent had a reason (quest) to come along them.

I have also found them so far I've gotten SW and N it seems like it might be a weird compas of sorts but im not sure if their locations represent north south and west

It's related to a collection quest you get. They're general markers for where the items can be found
